"Max Einstein: The Genius Experiment"

Written by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein

Review by The Dragon

Summary: Twelve year old Max Einstein is in college.  She was recruited to work for the Change Maker's Institute.  Bad guys want to try to catch her to make her help them build a super-computer.

This book is fiction.

On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give this book 8 stars.  I liked that the book is pretty long, and that the book is about kids who really like science.  Also, it includes a recipe for making slime and that's really fun.

I would recommend this book to a friend who likes science.

McAlister's (Marion, IL)

Reviewer: The Bookworm

Menu: I had a kids salad.

Taste: It's delicious!

Parking: The parking was pretty good.  We were able to find a pretty close spot.

Atmosphere: It really wasn't too noisy this time.

Fun stuff: I liked the salad choice and being able to pick which meat goes on it.

Weird stuff: There really isn't anything odd about this restaurant.

Accessibility: This restaurant was pretty accessible.

On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give this place a 8 because their food is tasty, but it isn't super amazing.

Written and illustrated by Nick Bruel

Review by The Bookworm

Summary: Bad Kitty goes to Dog Camp.

This book is fiction.

I would give this book 9 stars out of 10.  I really really like it, but I don't want to say it's the best book ever because maybe there's a better book that I just haven't read yet.

I would recommend this book to a friend because it's really funny.

"Journey"

Illustrated by Aaron Becker

Review by The Bookworm

Summary: The book starts with a little girl in a dark house, and then she decides to go on a journey.  The reader gets to make up the story for her journey because the book is all pictures and no words.

This book is fiction, with a little bit of magic that happens.

I would give this book 9 stars out of 10.  It isn't the very best book ever, but I do really like it.

I would recommend this book to a friend because it's really fun to imagine the story for yourself just by looking at the pictures, and you can make up a different story each time you read it.
